At the end of the summer we officially moved into our new farm in North Salem, NY. The property is 12 acres and located in the heart of Westchester County’s horse country. We have been contemplating this move for about two years. It took a series of events, including the pandemic, to make this possible, but we finally feel that we have landed right where we belong.
The farm is not set up to be a large scale training facility. At the moment, we have a few ponies and Alexa’s horses here until we go to Florida. In the future we would like to build an additional barn to accommodate select clients. We plan to include that process here on the blog, our hope is to create something truly special for our little business.
This area is true horse country, the neighboring preserve land was what made this property irreplaceable to us. To be surrounded by our industry but still within range of major cities and airports ticked necessary boxes for us. We hope that the local show scene continues to grow to accommodate the incredible equine residents of the area!
Being able to live and work on one property allows for so much more flexibility within our family. Especially during these uncertain times when the girls can be in school one week and home the next. This property has allowed us all to be productive in one place!
For what we lacked in horse shows to attend this season, we made up for in major life changes! This place is truly a dream come true and we look forward to the years to come where we can shape it into our headquarters. Thank you for stopping in with us to check out our new farm. We look forward to sharing how we grow here on this farm and in the North Salem community!
